Finally, ICASA have revealed that, this month, regulation will be passed to allow for them to continue the ITA (Invitation to Apply) process for digital video broadcasting frequency licenses. That means, almost a year after the process was started, Mobile TV may actually be a reality not too long from now. Whether or not service providers will have enough time to have Mobile TV up and running by 2010, as was promised, is debatable.
